EIF at the Third Global Review of Aid for Trade

The EIF will be holding two dedicated sessions for development partners and Least Developed Countries
(LDCs), along the theme "Driving results on the ground" on Tuesday, 19 July 2011, at the WTO Room E.

The EIF film, "Trade works" will be premiered on Monday, 18 July 2011, 13:00 – 13:30, at the WTO Room CR. The EIF is also engaged in the UNDP event on "Addressing the challenges of mainstreaming trade" and will be holding a display area featuring an LDCs trade exhibition.

EIF at the Fourth United Nations Conference on Least Developed Countries (UN LDC-IV)

The WTO/EIF Special event at LDC-IV, "Building a strong and sustainable trading future for LDCs" was held on Monday, 9 May 2011, 13h00 – 15h00, at the Lufti Kirdar Convention and Exhibition Centre, Istanbul

EIF Eastern and Southern Africa workshop

The Kingdom of Lesotho hosted a three-day workshop on 15 to 17 February for the poorest countries in Eastern and Southern Africa, in partnership with UNDP and the Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF), to promote a brighter trading future that aims to bring greater prosperity to communities across the region.

EIF Central, West Africa and Haiti workshop

The Government of Mali hosted a three-day workshop on 8 to 10 December for the poorest countries in the Central and West Africa region and Haiti, in partnership with UNDP and the Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF), to promote global trade that works for poor communities in supporting local skills and entrepreneurship.

EIF Asian workshop

The Government of Nepal hosted a three-day workshop on 21 June 2010, in partnership with UNDP and the Enhanced Integrated Framework Executive Secretariat for Asian LDCs and Yemen on the EIF.

The Government of Nepal launched the Nepal Trade Integration Strategy 2010 (NTIS 2010) following the workshop. The NTIS 2010 provides an overview on developing Nepal's export sector over a three- to five-year period as one of the country's national development strategies in poverty reduction. EIF Pacific workshop

The first regional EIF capacity-building workshop took place from 16 to 18 March 2010 in Port Vila, Vanuatu, at the invitation of the Government of Vanuatu. The workshop was funded by the EIF Trust Fund and organized by UNDP Fiji.
