Cambodia has benefited from two Window II Projects in the IF including; (i) Capacity-building for pro-poor trade reform and (ii) Trade-related assistance for development and equity. Under the EIF, Cambodia's Tier 1 Project, "Strengthening Institutional Mechanisms for Formulating, Implementing, Managing and Monitoring Cambodia's Trade Integration Strategy" was approved in September 2009 and is being implemented by the Department of International Cooperation ("D/ICO"). The EIF Tier 1 Project takes into consideration Cambodia's updated 2007 Diagnostic Trade Integration Study ("DTIS") and the National Strategic Development Plan 2006-2010 ("NSDP"). Its main objective is to enhance Cambodia's national capacity to formulate, implement, manage and monitor a pro-poor trade policy that is consistent with and supportive of the country's National Development Plan ("NDP") and its Millennium Development Goals ("MDGs").
