Solomon Islands

Solomon Islands joined the IF in 2007 and undertook a Diagnostic Trade Integration Study ("DTIS") which was validated in December 2009. Under the EIF, the National Implementation Unit ("NIU") has been established as a structure at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade. Solomon Islands has submitted a draft Tier 1 project proposal to support the NIU to develop capacity in managing trade-related technical assistance ("TRTA").
