Timor-Leste joined the IF in 2007 and undertook preparations for a Diagnostic Trade Integration Study ("DTIS"). The DTIS was validated on 19 October 2010. Timor-Leste with the support of the EIF ES and the TFM, submitted a pre‐DTIS project proposal, which was approved in January 2010. The project aims at building capacity in Timor‐Leste for good practice EIF implementation and strengthening country ownership of the process.
