Togo joined the IF in May 2008 and undertook preparations for a Diagnostic Trade Integration Study ("DTIS"). The DTIS was validated during a Validation Workshop from the 27 to 29 July 2010. Togo's Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper ("PRSP") for 2009-2011 gives mention to the DTIS finalization and further subsequent implementation of the EIF as part of the trade promotion strategy. Togo with the support of the EIF ES and the TFM, prepared a pre-DTIS project that was approved for implementation in January 2010.
