Deanna Ramsay

Deanna Ramsay is the Managing Editor of EIF's Trade for Development News, as well as a communications consultant for EIF. She brings more than 10 years' experience working in journalism as well as communications for international development and academic insitutions. Deanna started at EIF in 2018 as Communications Officer, crafting the stories of EIF's impact on the ground as well as handling editorial management of publications, photography and online content. Before working with EIF in Geneva, Deanna was Global Project Communications Coordinator at the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) in Bogor, Indonesia, and has worked at UNDP in Jakarta and the University of Chicago.

Deanna has a B.A. from UC Berkeley and an M.A. from Columbia University.

Jim O'Neill

Jim O’Neill is EIF’s design and visual communications lead. Since 2016, Jim has worked with EIF to build a strong visual identity and make our results and information accessible and understandable. With over 15 years experience as a visual communicator, Jim’s extensive portfolio includes work with UNICEF, UNDP, UNEP and the CGIAR, as well as large private sector brands and some of Australia’s most renowned design agencies.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Art (Public Relations) from Deakin University and a Diploma of Arts (Graphic Arts) from RMIT Melbourne.

Design and Visual Communications Lead (Consultant)

Adeline Masson

Adeline joined the Executive Secretariat for the EIF in April 2019, initially serving as a Team Assistant before taking on the role of Communications Support Officer. In her current capacity, she contributes to the EIF's outreach efforts by supporting the generation of content related to EIF results and communications initiatives at both country and programme levels. Prior to this, she honed her multilingual communication skills and adaptability through diverse experiences, including her role as a Communication Assistant at the Swiss NGO Terre des hommes and during an internship as a Political Assistant at the French Embassy in Lithuania. 

Adeline holds a master's degree in international affairs from the French political school Sciences Po Lyon, which included a year-long academic exchange at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she majored in global studies. 

Communications Support Officer

Fanan Biem

Fanan as Programme Officer provides programme wide support on the implementation of EIF projects, including on monitoring and evaluation and the engagement with the EIF's stakeholders. Before joining the EIF in July 2018 as a Monitoring and Evaluation Support Officer, Fanan worked as a Policy Research Analyst at a public sector advisory firm in Nigeria. He has previous project management experience from the International Trade Centre and the United Nations and has worked on trade productive sector capacity-building in central Mozambique. Fanan holds a Master of Laws in International Economic Law and a Master of Science in Development Practice from Trinity College Dublin. He is fluent in French and English.
Programme Officer

Paulin Zambelongo

Mr Zambelongo joined the EIF ES team as Coordinator in September 2018. Prior to that, he was the National Coordinator of the EIF National Implementation Unit (NIU) of Burkina Faso. In this role, Paulin built significant experience in project preparation and project portfolio management involving various stockholders with a focus on the principle of results-based management. He has a good understanding of trade-related challenges faced by LDCs. He also served as an Economic Affairs Officer in charge of multilateral trading system and regional integration at Burkina Faso's Ministry of Trade.

Paulin holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Ouagadougou, a Diploma from Burkina's National School of Administration and Magistracy and a MBA from Jean Moulin Lyon University.
